John Albright presented Betty Howe with the consolation prize for the derby drawing, the coveted Blowing Rock Rotary Green Wig. Jerry Hutchens won the $200 grand prize.
One of our newest members, Anne Duvoisin and her fiance, Jay. Anne earned her picnic lunch by riding her bike to the event. She kinda cheated, though. Jay loaded up her bike and they rode home in their car.
Ann Williams was John Marshall’s right hand in putting the picnic together. She also brought her homemade slaw that everyone loved. There was none left!
