The calm before the storm. Silent auction items were beautifully displayed in the room next to the live auction for potential bidders to look over.

Don’t they look great in their official Blowing Rock Rotary shirts? Mike and Ann kept a running record of live auction sales as Past President and current Community Services Chair Linda Slade looks on. Linda was once again a runner this year. Ann did a terrific job handling the overwhelming job of logistics. Mike served as her able assistant. Standing in the background are Barbara and Bill Parker. Both Bill and Barbara work hard with the Rotary Leadership Institute and District 7670 C.A.R.T fundraising. Bill is both a Past President of the club as well as a Past District Governor. Our current District Governor Gary Bray and his wife Demi also attended the auction. Demi recently assumed the crucial role of bookkeeper for the district.
